    From time to time the road ride may be filmed from the instructors bike, this is for training and safety purposes only. if you have any objection please tell your instructor.

    Attendance:
    If you fail to attend on the date for which you have been booked and have not cancelled and/or re-arranged a new date, then you will need to make a new booking and a re-booking fee may be charged in addition to the course fee.

    Documentation:
    You will need to bring the following items with you when you attend your course:
    • Provisional Driving Licence in the correct category for the motorcycle you will be using while training (or an official receipt from the Vehicle Registration and Licence authority confirming that your application for a licence has been accepted).
    • Valid insurance certificate.

    If any part of it is missing or incorrect then you will not be able to continue and you will be required to re-book your training for another day. A re-booking fee may be charged in addition to the course fee.

    Helmet:
    You must bring a safety helmet with you. It must be in good condition conforming to current regulations (22-05), and which is a proper fit for you. We do not recommend using a second-hand or used helmet. Visors and goggles. Your visor must also comply with current regulations, marked (For daytime use only) Visors and goggles If you ride with a visor or goggles they must either: meet a British Standard and display a BSI Kite mark meet a European standard offering at least the same safety and protection as the British Standard and carry a mark equivalent to the BSI Kite mark (UNECE Regulation 22.05)

    Your motorcycle:
    Your motorcycle will be checked by your instructor before training starts. If he is not satisfied that it is road worthy and legal, he may decide not to let you continue, in which case you will be required to re-book your training for another day. A re-booking fee may be charged in addition to the course fee.
    All motorcycles must have ‘L’ plates securely fitted in the proper and correct fashion.
    For safety reasons and also because some motorbikes or scooters are not representative of their class, there are some motorbikes you cannot do your course on. These bikes include (but not limited to) 'Thumps' and the Honda 'Monkey Bike'. If you have any doubts, please contact us.

    Dress:
    You must bring or be wearing the following items of clothing, irrespective of the season or the weather:
    • A stout jacket, preferably designed for use with a motorcycle.
    • Waterproof outer layer. When not in use, this may be stowed in a convenient place on your motorcycle.
    • Warm inner layer.
    • Gloves, preferably designed for use with a motorcycle and which, as well as providing warmth, will give good protection against knocks and abrasions to the hands and fingers. Ski gloves or woollen gloves do not offer protection and cannot be used
    • Stout footwear. Ideally your footwear should give support to the ankle and have good, rubber soles.

    If your instructor feels that you are inappropriately dressed and are unable to put the matter right before your lesson starts, he may decide not to let you continue, in which case you will be required to re-book your training for another day. A re-booking fee may be charged in addition to the course fee.
